The position will be responsible for reconciling various general ledger accounts, preparing periodic expenditure reports and cash requests for state and federal funding agencies, preparing journal entries, along with preparing, coding and verifying accounts payable invoices.
Experience in computer application with proficiency in MS Office, such as Excel and Word is essential. Ideal candidate must be a self-motivated, disciplined individual with the ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (i.e. Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. One year experience is preferred for this position.
